I'm so sorry for your loss of Chumley, and I understand the pain of losing a beloved pet and member of your family. They take a piece of our hearts when they leave, and leave a paw print on our hearts. There is no time limit on missing someone or for grief, and you never fully ever get over it, but with time the heart does heal, and some days you will have those tears of sadness when thinking about him, and other days you'll have a laugh or a smile when you remember a funny or loving memory of him, and that's okay. Everyone's journey is different and everyone deals with it in their own way and time. Take your time and grieve him. He will always be a part of your life, and he will be forever with you in your memories and in your heart.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Be happy inside knowing he lived such a wonderful life with a loving home, and the best care. That sweet boy is looking down on us now. They say time heals all wounds, but I know that its not necessarily true... they will always hold a piece of our hearts forever. I rest easier knowing that we'll be reunited again one day. Hugs to you today, and hugs to that sweet boy Chumly. (and Monty too) xoxo.
He is alive in your heart, and always will be there. Don't cry because it's over-smile because you had him.You have to remind yourself how lucky you were.........
