I’ve read a while back they do surgery n insert a permanent contact len in the back of the pupil. Idk if yours would qualify. You might want to talk to the vet about it.

Holistic way, Marigold, which is a potent source of zeaxanthin, which basically is a carotenoid that’s important for eye health. Also, what helps boost the Retinal is Lutein. I know there’s supplements for dogs eyesight out there that contains Lutein in Marigold(calendula). It’s an extract. Extracts is always better as it gets in your blood faster.

Thanks, I have been taking a supplement called Areds2 for years for my eyes containing what you mentioned. I will check for a doggy version. I think the lens is after you have cataract surgery. I just had surgery on both eyes and am now the proud owner of new permanent lenses (and no more glasses)!

I know a few humans that had that surgery, they’re very satisfied.

...unfortunately damage has been done to his eyes as he should have had the surgery long before now. The vet does not think his vision will improve much, if at all after the surgery...
I would be surprised if his vision did not improve post surgery. Every bulldog we did surgery on, improved...some more than others.
