News reports are show flooding in a lot of low lying areas. I received a picture from Austin where the water must have been 6 inches high which definitely pales to Houston.Please be safe...we are still sending prayers your way Texas.

Total freak out tonight as water is half way up our driveway, but praise God the rain seems to have stopped, this has to start draining. Lord my stress is to the max I'm exhausted yet wide awake [emoji15]Our front yard currently:

I would think Houston is going to shut down until the flooding subsides. I see the cars in the background are not under water like many others in the area. I can understand your stress level but Tyson will help you with that. Jewel and Bentley say hello Tyson. Tell your mommy to put your life vest on buddy. Don't want you to float away.I heard on the radio this morning that Maryland is sending Red Cross and FEMA has requested the Swift Water Rescue guys from Virginia. So help and comfort on their way to Texas. The Red Cross is deploying to Rockport.

The Houston Texans were diverted to Dallas for their last preseason game with the Cowboys as opposed to going back to Houston. I hope their families are doing ok as well.

Still good here. Thank god we bought where we did! 26 + inches in 48 hours in our back garden and it is still raining. The pictures and TV reports are heartbreaking... and all the poor lost animals.

Still here.

We're right under the continuous red band of rain on the radar. Clear lake borders Pasadena laPorte area.

My
Mom got a new hip on Wednesday and is staying with us until she recuperates.

Daughter and granddaughter are also here. Add 3 dogs and a fish tank and we have a full house.

Pebbles is taking it pretty tough.

You're not too far from us. Glad y'all are all safe and you have your Momma. Stay safe and fingers crossed we make it through next few days.

We were all exhausted yesterday so for the first time, Smash got to sleep in the bed with Momma. He is totally unaffected by all this storming. I filled our bathtub with potable water in the event of power loss, and he definitely knows it's there. Lol

He looked at me to say, "pleeeeease let me have it!"
