Hi my 6 month old male has just been weighed and is 19kg I'm going off what the royal canian has said to feed him in grams at the moment he is on 360 grams a day split into 3 meals. This amount is for a bulldog who is going to be 24kg at adult weight. The question is, is this amount ok because 19kg at 6 months seems to be heavy in my opinion.

19kilo is 41lbs which is big for a 6month puppy. And you should totally get him off royal canin completely. It’s full of grains and fillers. In UK you have Acana or get another higher quality kibble if it’s what you prefer. Raw diet is better but not for everyone. Stick to one protein per bag like duck, then rotate to another protein like chicken. As puppies the can tolerate chicken. The more you introduced different proteins, the more the dog builds a stronger immune system and will have less to no allergies. Also gives you heads-up to monitor if any allergies from a protein so you can eliminate it from his diet. Very rare puppies gets allergies if you follow one different protein per bag till he reaches a yr old or so. I had 3 EBs and did the one protein bag at a time, not one had any food allergies nor environmental. It’s how you build their system. Just a thought.

I'm sure this has been said many times. Raw is the way to go. I notice you are in the U.K. if you need a good supplier of Raw, P.M. me, I have no affiliation with the company, and it took me a few years to find the right supplier. I have been with them for over 4yrs, I have been feeding Raw for over 50yrs with all the Dogs I have cared for. I would not touch Kibble, for any dog I care for. Raw:yes:
