I’ve recently taken Freya of the vets prescribed meds , she can’t tell me of course but they didn’t seem to make any difference. I’ve tried a natural remedy , Immal joint aid and relief which seems to be helping, (her limps not as pronounced as usual) I’ve also been giving her hemp - nothing dodgy! - in an effort to help calm her as she is very high energy and isn’t helping herself. I call her my little tornado on her calm days and tigger on speed on her less calm so perhaps that gives you an idea of just how high energy she is šŸ˜‚
I’ve never been a proponent of natural meds I have to be honest, I’ve tried them over the years for my kids me and other pets and they’ve been an expensive waste of time.
But I wondered if the immal is helping her if there’s anything else out there, she detests it and I’m having to mix it in with extra food and stronger tasting foods to try disguise it a bit , of course that’s not healthy and I want her diet to be well balanced and healthy.

A good homemade joint maintenance, is to make this recipe attached. I’ve used this many times with my bullies and still for my German Shepherd. Just make sure you buy LEAD FREE organic Turmeric powder. This recipe totally works! Don’t skip the black pepper cause the turmeric won’t be effective. šŸ‘

I actually do give her two turmeric and black pepper supplements each day although it’s organic I don’t know if it’s lead free that’s not something I even considered to be honest.
I feel really stupid now, I’m just looking at the packaging right now and it’s binder is magnesium stearate and I’ve a horrible feeling that’s going to be lead šŸ˜”
I’m not very well educated so I’m sorry if it’s something I should know!

Don’t bash yourself. We all learn as we go. I’ve been reading ingredients for decadeSSSSSS and still do. I just don’t trust any products cause nowadays, it’s all about money and not a clean product. Make your own if you can. Stop giving your dog them supplements cause it’s useless and it’s more of a lubricant. Watch them stools. Stearate substance is a saturated fat, barely no magnesium. Like mentioned previously, up the protein and get him off the Royal Canin. Do add raw liver as a topper.
