Help my 8 year old keeps going to bathroom in the house

My Red keeps going number 2 in the house even though the door is open for him to go outside. This been happening for the last few weeks and I don’t know what to do.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ugh... it's so hard when they get older, have you talked to the vet about it? He may need a checkup first to rule out a medical issue.

I haven’t taken him back to the vet yet. He does have a torn acl and takes rimadyl. He was tested for cushings. All his blood work is good. It’s just strange.

My boxer had cushings, and she would pace at night and pee all over the house. Maybe his meds are causing this?
