We went to the vets this afternoon for more shots and we were not so happy when told over the phone that our regular vet would not be seeing us as he has left and opened his own practice. Unsure if we should approach the subject and find out where and when this new office would be opened and where. We travel a fair distance as it is just to go too this particular vet office. We told each other we would discuss it during our consultation after waiting over an hour, we were asked if it was OK that they take Chance to the back, do his nails and be seen by someone else and if they could administer the shot. Unregular but no problem if it speeds up the time so yes take him into the back. 15 minutes later we are asked into a room for a consult, Our old vet who was great with our boxer and keeshounds had checked out Chance. We found out that he is a specialist in knee surgery and knows bullies very well.
Chance has great knees and joints and a great nasal cavity that looks like it will only be getting better. Whew :yeah: 4months and weighs 22lbs great shape with a bit of extra spunk
Next month rabies shot then another month until they are snipped and Ps. the vet said they have dropped nicely.

Yehey Chance! He's in perfect health that's great to hear. So now you don't have to hunt down the other vet (?). So proud of our Chance!

Sounds good… I would say if you feel comfortable w/the new vet (and he's familiar w/the bully breed) then stay w/him!!!

Love great vet visits! Our vet does the smae thing for shots/nails, tech comes and takes them in the back then you meet with the vet after to discuss

Now.... where are the pictures of OUR boy??? :tapfoot:
