I've also never been in a group before. This is my 2nd Olde English. Her name is Peggy. Got her 2 yrs.ago. I got her from a groomer, who's husband raised bull dogs. She was in what looked like a jail cell with a male bull dog. She will be 5 in April. She was used for breeding and has bite scars all over her body. Peggy is afraid of my husband, unless he is giving her treats. She is very attached to me. She doesn't play with toys and licks her paws a lot. I'm the only person that can take her out or feed her. She loves going for walks and great with her harness. I tale her out, weather permitting, every day. If I'm not home and she's alone with my husband, she hides in the bedroom. Otherwise she is a great dog. She really enjoys going to the beach. That's the only time she smiles. annerev

Tracey-I ,too, have had the worst new year ever! Not sick, but every vehicle,hot water heater,tractor,me,has broken! Ready to run away-where? can't get away,AND all my big bills,tax,ins.,etc. are due in Feb. Arrrgh! I tell you this to let you know that you are not alone in your misery!! lol-life's a beach-because we are drowning!!I'll drink to that! FEEL BETTER SOON!!!

Hello everyone.. I never being in a group before, We have for the first time a puppy and we decided what better then a bulldog. Having our four legs baby is a blessing but also a lot of qork is Like having a baby and learning step by step. I’m have being reading the post in the forum great help and thanks for that .

Hello Everyone, Never been in a group so you may have to bear with me, not sure how to do this! I can't find the answer to my questions....or at least not the one I am looking for so I am asking this group. I live in Germany. However, we travel to the states every summer for two months. We got an English Bulldog just assuming we could travel with her in the summers. Sadly, we are finding this just cannot be done. First, many airlines have regulations against traveling with the breed. Next, the temperatures where we will fly to, though a straight flight from Frankfurt to Charlotte, are too high in the summer for any breed. I have contacted many companies that advertise shipping pets with no luck, have found no way. Anyone have any experience with this at all? Looking for any feedback or advice. Thanks!
