Yep nearest UPS hub is Peterborough Ont or Ottawa both app 2 hrs away and if they do not deliver to the door you have to go there for the pick up, which makes it a 4 hr drive there and back , I was a traffic manager years ago and used them all and shipped every where in the world even tho that many years ago not much has changed delivery wise to up here I am sorry to say . I do a lot of online ordering since i moved here and one thing i have found out is you better not want it quick lol , Amazon.ca is the best I can get if I join there club type thingy I can get 2 day delivery they say

funny right now our population is maybe 1000 , come summer we grow to over 60,000 and i am happy when they go home ( shhh ) we depend on that influx of holiday people , even if they are rude nasty in a rush drinking and driving types lol

oh also all the other couriers do not come here none DHL, FEDEX ect ect

You might get nabbed with duty ect ect Canada Customs sucks , the only real shipping method that works is Canada post here we do have purolator also but hit and miss with them but might be easier customs wise they sometimes deliver to the door most times people are not aware they drop it off at the local post office instead of doing there jobs correctly . Canada post is slow and does not deliver to the door , i go in with the dogs lol another story lol and pick up the mail maybe 3 times a week or less , i am app 20 mins out side of Barry,s Bay

I did not check with our dollar at think it is close to 69 cents to the US and then US shipping it would have made it more expensive then the scotch i was drinking lol , The Prettyone is going to ask around at the office to see if anyone knows a good cigar shop in Toronto , she woks for Foote Cone and Belding a ad agency down there so someone will have a line on a store I am pretty sure .

Agreed thanks for the advice , one of the reasons I went ahead so early with getting Rosie after Tilly passed was for Me yes but the other guys around here also Diva was enthralled with Rosie as were the rest of the dogs , This time I will not get a pup I am pretty sure will give it some time , as you are aware i have many saves around Me , I do look all the time at the Bully save section , problem i have is where I live more then anything most are in the States and just to far away , I keep a eye on the Canadian ones but not many show up , but I will continue to keep a eye there , this might sound corny but I think Diva would like that

I am doin ok thanks so much ,the dogs are in full search mode they were used to coming downstairs to be greeted by Diva and having a sniff and a lick, Willow our Siberian is the most befuddled as she was yesterday . I took the rest of the day off yesterday after i returned opened a save excellent bottle of single malt scotch and cuddled up with Rosie and dakota on the couch had a couple good cries and tried to find something on Netflix lol
Today I will get back to the dinning room floor and try and get it finished for our belated Christmas with our kids , The Prettyone wants to renew our vows on a cruise ship with our kids and there hubby,s and or girlfriends in 2017 , so i might make a few phone calls too cruise lines see how that can be done . Ya know 2017 will be our 30th anniversary we have still yet to argue in all that time together, part 1

Your right I went thru it with Tilly too, I did not understand it then tho , Christine this was the first place I came early this morning , The Prettyone had left to go back to the city at 5:30 am and I got all the dog stuff done made my self a coffee and came to this amazing place , I can not say enough about the people here and considering the venue we communicate thru meaning online all never met, know very little about each other in personal terms, It is pretty amazing place .
Diva is not having a good day but we had all weekend played on the couch with all her toys till she tired and fell asleep on my lap , all the other dogs know something is up and have been very gentle with her like not the nomal play program they get into which can be rough house type play .

I know it is the right thing to do but like i went thru with Tilly I argue with myself as too should I maybe just a few more weeks or is it truly Cancer again you know what i mean , spent last night doing that .
I am hanging out here in self protect mode so far today , I am trying not to read anything bad as i turn into a blithering idiot at My desk , but I also feel sometimes I might be able to help out with that person and maybe what there going thru or try for there pup .
This is a good place Christine with good people so very rare .
