Pre-made patty. He did a little better over the weekend I've started to add 1/2 of cooked plain rice, it seems to really help. Maybe he needed a little extra carbs in there. I mean who doesnt need carbs? LOL... hee hee.
Oh no I know that fear, we almost lost Tyson to surgery too - gosh that was one of the worst times of my life. I know Wally will do great! When you transitioned Roxie to raw, how long did it take her to fully adjust? We are still getting runny poop, not diarrhea, but not firm. Trying to sort it out, bc I think he has bad reflux too.... which we "had" been giving him Pepcid, but now I'm doing a probiotic, digestive enzyme, and herb combo - bc I want to solve it, not just suppress it.
Awe, poor guy. You're going to do a couple of things right? So he only has to go down once? I sure hope that takes care of it for him for good! I love his little face ! We're doing okay over here... having some tummy issues at the moment. We transitioned to raw about 24 days ago... so I'm sure the change, and his reflux, etc are all trying to sort themselves out. Little vomit here, little diarrhea there. He keeps me on my toes I tell ya. But I hope we're getting there slowly...I know the raw has huge health benefits, but he's been on kibble his whole life so the adjustment has to take place. I just want my old man to be as healthy as possible.
Sorry for the late reply, I did end up ordering him a 2! I can't wait to get it, I know it will take awhile since they are over seas.... thanks for all your help, I'll post pics once I have it. Let 's hope he likes it. He doesn't care for his current harness too much, but I think bc its thin, and he can really feel it. These look bigger, wider, and more comfortable!
