  • Brie's poo so far has been fine. What is the holistic food you r talking about? Is it a limited ingredient one? I'm wondering if maybe the beef is bothering her? I mean geez it could be that, eggs, dairy, fruits, veggies..ugh lol no insurance yet, still discussing w hubby. Honestly, he prolly won't do it.
I have to run to a meeting... if you need me Lisa has my cell number tell her to text me. I send you my cell in a PM later
Thank you, home again, finally. It was the longest 6 days of my life. It's still on and there's no medicine for this, except bully love of course, so it's much better to be home. I just need to remember to drink a lot and I'll be just fine. Thank you for your prayers:hug: How are you doing?
Hi Tracey, no still have the Pita, but followed up with my family doctor today, and she agreed with the hospital tests, no infection, she says it's just a mechanical backache, unknown cause, comes with getting old, ugh. :( lol. She gave me some anti inflammatories, and a requestion for physiotherapy, we have insurance coverage for this, so,I'll go for some physio and massage, and soak in Epsom salts, and hopefully it gets better soon, thanks for checking in and checking on me. Feeling so loved. :)
I honestly can't afford another specialist right now. I'm trying process f elimination n then maybe a hypoallergenic food to see. Also going yo stain her eyes just go make sure the hairs aren't the cause. It's so frustrating. But, it is what it is...I hope your evening has been going well.
...sigh...I asked about that and the testing is only good w airborne stuff. The food allergies testing has too many false positives according to my vet. They do a blood test n send off the serum. Maybe a dermatologist vet specialist could do diff types of test tho. I just don't want her eyes to hurt. That us what I'm so afraid of
I'm glad you aren't mad! I have always used breeders. We did get our bigdog gimli from the humane society. I used to volunteer and he was a spitting image of my hubby's childhood dog so..he came home w us. The vet said she foes have hairs (which we knew) but he didn't see where they would be bothering her. No eye damage etc. The whites if her eyes r reddish which we know happens w allergies...the specialists that did her cryosurgery said to wait til the hairs caused ulcers before putting her through another surgery. Wth is she allergic to that is making her eye blink? It has to be so uncomfortable, no? I'm going to eliminate her food toppers but thn saw the veggie toppers n salmon oil are in the ingredients of her food..so shat now? :wall bang:
Well, being from NYC I can say everything is more expensive, but the pay is more so it can even out some, but barely. No, I'm Embarrassed to ay we got her from a store called 19breeders. Supposedly they deal w local breeders not puppy mills, just local folks who breed n don't want up deal w whn ppl might want a puppy. The owner checks out the environment n if ok then buys them. They register all pups w ckc since they don't necessarily get parent papers etc. I will never, ever do that again. I don't regret getting Brie but I do wish we went through a breeder. We got sucked in by the cuteness. I fought w them too after we got her since 3 days later she had pneumonia and a bacterial infection in her trachea. Bunch of asses there...I have always gotten my animals from breeders or shelters. Don't hate me please!!
