  • Hi Tracey, I am getting excited as its only four weeks and two days until we leave here, but I think I am also stressing about leaving Ftse. I have so much to do before coming and I just get myself to do it but I need to start otherwise no one will get paid while I am away and I don't think I would be very popular if that was the case.

Did I tell you that I am meeting up with Phil Pdolphin27 we are going out to dinner with him and his wife Maggie, and I am meeting JeannieCo too at Temecula with Henny so its going to be a lot of fun I wish I could go everywhere and meet everyone.
How is your husband going in Afghanistan. What will happen if they do strike Syria will he come home earlier?

I liked your photo of the two of them in the bed it was so sweet.
I haven't been able to log in or do anything at all lately.... If you have any question why, let me remind you, two three month old bulldogs! :) They're a mess, I love them, they're a blast, too cute for words, and keep me busier than I ever thought I'd be. I just got home from the dog park, and I think Gracie's hernia popped back out, and now her left eye looks like she's getting or the cherry part is starting to pop out of her eye. I just don't know! I'm stressing, and want her to be okay. They're fabulous together, and better apart. Completely my little munchkins I adore. How are you?
That's great! Casper started with me then disappeared. I know he's reading these posts so I have to get him mad enough to comment!
He gets a cup of food, twice a day; it's the treats that he cries (and I mean cries, whines, throws himself on the floor -- he's dramatic) that are doing it. I've cut him down...and the green beans, berries...eh...he often spits them out. I want to get 5 pounds off of him...today it will be in the 80s here in NJ, but the weather will be cooling off soon and then we'll hit the road for our rambles...we walk a lot in the fall/winter/spring. His father was not the biggest bulldog I've ever seen, but he was up there. And he wasn't fat -- his chest was huge...and looking down on him...a perfect V back. Sweet, sweet dog...much like my Dudley.
Aww Tracey, seeing your msg lifted my heart so much, things are not great still :(
Love your colors here & your new avatar. Isn't your Hubby in Afganistan...or going?
So hard doing/being without them and especially when they are constantly in danger.
I was born into military life, oldest of 4 kids, Dad was career Army. GOD bless!
Yes - he was 53 pounds at 8 months! His Dad was around 90 pounds. His mom was 55 lbs. Dudley's chest is massive and his feet are ENORMOUS. My boyfriend's son has a friend with a Great Dane and his feet are not nearly as big as Dud's. He is pretty tall -- about 18.5 inches at the shoulders and from nose to curled little tail - he's like 26 or 28 inches (can't remember which). I'd love to get him down to about 75 pounds -- that's what his vet would like to see. He's pretty active when he wants to play. He'll wrestle with my boyfriend for hours! And, when the weather is is cooler with low humidity, he can walk 4 to 5 miles. Of course, being a bully, he is a champion sleeper; unless my boyfriend is here and playing with him, Dudley likes to go to bed at 9 -- he's asleep on the floor at my feet right now. Of course, we usually get up at 6 am! He is the absolute light of my life...just adore this dog! How big were Winston's parents?
Yah this has been a rough summer. I have to drag Fergus out of bed to go on his morning walk at 7am and I am not kidding about the dragging  I would skip the walks if I could but my Lab would have a breakdown if we deviate from routine.. Love my boys to death but geez they can be PITA .
Ladies night? Sounds fun..tell Casper I said hello. We are doing great thanks! Yes he is quite the character...Just like they all are Im sure! Have a great time tonight!
Still no a/c :( It wasn't the control board that they ordered, but the motor! There goes a $1,000....grr!!!
:whew: Thank you Tracie, it doesn't upset me that someone wants to breed their dog, I get that. But they should do their homework homework homework. Research everything you can. I appreciate your understanding
Unfortunately it has been 104 or over every day for the last couple of weeks :( We are just fortunate that there is more than one unit here. I swear, if we ever have problems with anything, it always coincides with a holiday and makes the repair take longer. I had to call the technician for the internet repair directly and I offered him $50 if he would come repair it on his day off or it would still not have been repaired yet :(

Poor Logan! That sounds painful! I know what you mean about being so busy......I can't see any light at the end of the tunnel yet!
I think I have to stop though. People will think I'm casper obsessed! I couldnt resist putting his head on a sperm..How are you?
