I taught 1st and/or 2nd grade for 12 years, and then at the master's level at a local university for 6 years before I had to stop (teaching teachers earning their MA in either education or psychology, as my MS is in psych). Yes! We did Sturgis, Deadwood & Devils Tower in Wyoming, as well. It was a great weekend road trip! I'm SC on pinterest; I honestly thought you had figured it out by now, as I "pin" pics of Foster! Now that I figured out how to do that with my phone I can't help but show him off every so often. (giggle) How long have you been an RN? I have a LOT of respect for nurses, as I have many, many, many health issues; I have often found that nurses do and know more than the doctors!! I used to be a teacher (for 18 years) until I had to go on "retirement disability."

I was having trouble with my account for a while and couldn't log in Then, I celebrated my 40th last weekend with a trip to Mt Rushmore w/ my hubby - that was a blast! And then I've been wasting tooooo much time on Pinterest rather than here. Oops!! (I figure you know who I am, right??) Foster is great! I got him an elk antler yesterday, and he hasn't put it down yet!!! He LOVES it!!! How are your babies doing?

Lol: Yes. Emma and Amber are from the same litter and my youngest, Ruby, also has the same mother and father as Amber and Emma. Lol; we like to keep things entertaining around our house. Never a dull moment.

My Usko has the same gene defect as most Dalmatians so he also is prone to urate stones. Struvites are almost never caused by any gene defect and are easier to cure and prevent. Urates form in acidic urine and struvites in alkaline, so balance is the key. Buy an electrical pH meter and measure her urine pH weekly, so you can take action before she develops stones. Keep me posted how it goes!
