Sheldon is much like that he will do just about anything for love he is such a good boy. I learn something new everyday with him he teaches me something new everyday LOL.

I did virtually no research but went on my instincts on how to train Sheldon see what he reacted to positively and he had the most reaction to positive reinforcement I.E. telling him he is a good boy he loves hearing that and reacts accordingly.

It is tragic especially since they are such loving animals! I had no idea how loveable until we got Sheldon. He came from a puppy mill we were unaware until months later when the people were busted with literally 128 dogs 28 were puppies living in deplorable conditions!

I don't think Arkansas has a rescue for English Bulldogs so I'm not sure which one would be closest to us. I just recently learned that there were rescues for them because I had no idea anyone would be willing to give theirs up voluntarily because I KNOW I couldn't give mine up.

Thank you he is such a joy and light in our lives such a blessing. I never thought I could love a dog like I love my Sheldon but when he looks up at me with those eyes I just can't help it. Looks like your Mommy to a few cutie patooties yourself :D. I am thinking about talking to my husband about being a foster family for English Bulldog Rescues.

Hi Lisa, I would like to make my second nomination for EB hero. I would like to nominate Leesa ( bulldogs4me ), as she has her own 3 dogs, but has been an angel and selfless hero to many needy foster dogs, she rescued Chance and Destiny when she encountered them in I beleive it was a Petsmart store?, but she took them home with her that night and gave them a home, love, training, care and nursed them back to loving trusting bullies. She then found them their furever homes, and gave them a second chance of love. I think she is deserving of this award.

I would like to nominate everyone that has rescued a Bulldog for opening there Hearts and Home to them and God Bless Them
