We got home a little while ago. Her upper respiratory infection is better since we saw her last week. She's quite the heavy breather! :D She has made herself right at home.

I know....bad mama....having a tough time loading them...just got the profile picture to work...cute but would Jane been better at Christmas time! Sometimes I think I am computer savvy but alas guess I really do need to spend some time figuring out the directions! Have been a member for a long time just haven't figured out the posting jazz! I am just a little slow--still learning! I'm getting so excited. I just hope the weather cooperates. We've had about 8 inches of snow since yesterday and it's still coming down. NOTHING will keep me from bringing her home!

Yes, that was the day we met. It was a mutual love at first sight! I can't wait to bring her home.

Her name is Mabel. The person who has fostered her said she's always even Mabel and answers to the name. We drove out to see her last weekend (a risky idea because we hadn't been approved yet). I got down on the floor with her and we hit it off very well. I hated to leave her behind! We were approved a couple days later. We recently lost our 9-year-old bullmastiff and are ready to open up to another fur baby. We're getting very excited!

Thanks! I am still learning about this forum. I am really looking forward to learning more about these dogs from you all. Our girl hasn't had the best life, so we are planning on spoiling her as much as we can!
