  • I am.gonna try and scan his blood panel tomorrow and share it as far as they told us everything was normal and panic attacks are the only thing that make sense. He had a facial seizure over the neighbors deck umbrella because it was something new. He has always been weird about things being in the wrong spot. New noises new smells new people you get the point and since he had no issues around us prior to Thursday when we brought him home it make sense to me.
I did! It works really well for him but I don't put it on him when were gone because I don't want him to over heat.
To be honest I m not sure it seems odd to me that both seizure activities and the facial seizures happened when he was startled. Something tells me maybe anxiety but I am not sure. We are gonna take it day by day try and learn more and go from there
Finally he has been playing a lot with his toys and seems a lot more alert which is always a plus
Thankfully yes we have been able to get some rest. He still has a problem letting one or both of us out of his sight but I think that will hopefully get better. :)
I did post their album last night. I probably posted too many pictures, but eh, I don't care. I only stopped when I did cause we were taking them for a walk. :) I'm obsessed with these two.
8 Months! That's not too bad, only five more months to go. It's crazy, I want them to be potty trained but I don't want them growing up too fast. It will be a bittersweet, I'm sure. We don't keep anything in their crate and I went through a period where I was feeling bad, until I rationalized it to myself by the reminder that Porter LOVES spreading out on the floor more than any other place. His crate pan thing, it's pretty much the same texture. Ha! He is one stubborn boy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Otherwise, I wouldn't have a bulldog. We could get up with him every hour on the hour, which we actually tried two nights to prevent the accidents, and he walks out, looks at us like, "You REALLY woke me up for me to just walk outside and go back to sleep, you should have just left me!" He goes out for fifteen/twenty minutes, then walks in, and within twenty minutes has pee'd in his crate. He's too smart for his own good. Ha! Work. In. Progress.
I have no idea how long it will take:mellow: I think if they ate lots I should have seen it by now but if there is only a piece or two maybe it can take long... It's really hard not knowing when it's ok. I somehow think it will all be ok and that they didn't eat any but it's difficult to not stress. They are now up playing like crazy with my husband and howling at the church bells:)
Oh by the gods yes! I took allergy shots for about 15 years when I was younger! Moving here just created all new ones but I've been doing really well. It seems like it has been horrible for everyone! Brie has been a maniac today! A Tasmanian devil w zoomie ...out of no where ..zooooom chomp...yikes! Lol
WE GOT GRACIE MAE! We picked her up this morning at 8:30 and my oh my, talk about a heart overflowing with love and joy. She's SO much smaller than Porter and it is so funny to see them play. I feel like they absolutely remember one another. She's really laid back, he chews on her EVERYTHING, and then once she's had enough, she snips right back and he backs off. To be completely honest, one of the main reasons I'm on here now is cause I REALLY need to read how much I need to let them interact, chew/play with one another, and when to stop them. Porter is quite the nagging brother. I read so much about littermate syndrome and determined to make sure that doesn't happen with them, or US. I want them to have one another, but of course bond with us.

Let me get some pictures up! I know I said I would share, and I need to stay true to my word. :) I have been so busy with work and Porter right now, I've had no time to get on here or do anything for fun time. Porter is my fun time!
I have absolutely no idea what happened!! I responded to your message the other day right after your one was sent about your kiddos picking your Winston. I also mentioned how funny it is that he was picked over his big head, because that was the initial reason I wanted a boy. I love the strong look of a bulldog anyway, but with the big head and jawline, they're just absolutely striking and I think so beautiful!! That's part of their appeal.

Porter is doing great! I say great, because he's no longer pooping in his kennel, and that was the toughest to clean. The tinkling in the kennel is still a total work in progress, but I can deal with that... Having to get dry poo out of each crease and crevice of a kennel is just pure pain. Lol! Especially, as he looks on like "I'm sorry mom, just couldn't help myself, I HAD to play in it while you were gone!"

I hope you're doing fabulous and Winston is just wonderful! He is one PRECIOUS pup!!
Hi, just wanted to let you know all is still normal here:) been digging in poo nicely today:blink: It's now bedtime here and kids are tucked in under blankets happily sleeping<3
