What Oliver Taught Me: A Book to Benefit MidAtlantic Bulldog Rescue

Hi friends, Some of you know I wrote a book about how my sweet, weird bulldog Oliver helped me become a better human. I appreciate all of those who have supported this book and my journey! I am happy to announce the book was released yesterday! Proceeds from the sale of the book will be going...

    Oliver, my world.

Hi, I haven't been on here in quite some time and even find it difficult right now. We lost Oliver on 9/6/16 at the age of 5 1/2. While I know age is just a number, losing him so young has made this all very difficult. Oliver was diagnosed with Protein Losing Enteropathy in 2014. With the help...

    Best Commercial Raw?

Thank you for the replies. Have any of you used either Bravo or Dogswell Nutrissa or Sojos? Those are the only two brands I've come across that do NOT use carrots. It's amazing what a staple food carrots are in dog food. I wish Oliver could eat them; he loves them, just can't digest them...

    Best Commercial Raw?

Thanks for the reply! In my hours of researching yesterday, I've only found two brands without carrots. I have to look further into each of those brands!

    Best Commercial Raw?

Thanks. I researched ALL day yesterday and learned a lot. Right now, I have found two brands that do not contain carrots: Bravo and Dogswell Nutrissa - both are freeze dried. I am still researching more brands. Unfortunately, we have tried having Oliver eat veggies that were home-cooked (we...

    Best Commercial Raw?

Hi everyone - Oliver has had so many issues that are food related. He spent the last year on a prescription diet and has lost 12 pounds through the year. He recently started having diarrhea and our vet felt he could have built an intolerance to the protein. We switched to canned i/d to try to...

    Bulldog Clothing

Thanks. I had already been to their website and unfortunately, as with many other places, they aren't specifically designed for bulldogs. For the size Oliver needs, the length of their clothing is way, way, way too long. I was hoping for sites that specifically designed for our weird-shaped bullys!

    Bulldog Clothing

Hey there - I've seen a few threads on here regarding website specializing in bulldog clothing. Unfortunately, many of the companies suggested are no longer in business. Oliver is in the market for some new stuff (a hoodie and maybe a coat) and we are having a hard time finding stuff that fits...

It has to have been asked before: what do you do about your bully's horrible gas?

Thank you! I've heard Purina makes a good one as well. I'm researching different ones now. :)

It has to have been asked before: what do you do about your bully's horrible gas?

I almost bought Kefir to try the other day but was worried about messing with his tummy. I might try that but will most likely try a probiotic first!

It has to have been asked before: what do you do about your bully's horrible gas?

Hi everyone - I have a question: Oliver was put on a prescription diet food. He loves the food, as it helps with so many of his issues. Not only has he shaved 10 pounds off (in a year) but it is a soft food which helps with his esophagus issues AND it doesn't contain carrots which he is...

    Help Needed! Palate Surgery?

I haven't been on here in a while - so glad to hear Barkley got through things okay!

    Help Needed! Palate Surgery?

I'm wishing Barkley tons of luck! Definitely go with the vet who is knowledgeable about the surgery and bulldogs. Please keep me posted! XO

    Help Needed! Palate Surgery?

Oliver's regurgitation varied. We saw the internist on Monday and she felt it might have nothing to do with his palate but we should first explore other non-invasive ways to control it before putting him under for an endoscopy. She had us change his food so he would have a protein change. Also...
