Yes as anything dog food in a can is heated to a high temperature n it kills over 50% of its nutritional value. Somewhat like kibbles.
Try to work with same protein for about a good 3weeks to one month. Then rotate a different protein Repeat... as if your dog does hav an allergy, you will know what new protein your dog can’t have. In raw, it’s extremely rare especially in puppies to have any allergies. Why I always suggest rotation is a must. My dogs eats anything. Chicken, wild meat, game, any fish etc.. oh n I also give whole frozen fish as a noon snack. I work from home so easier. I use get herring, sardines n cut them in halves and each get a piece. Just a thought
