    Mom, you're the worst!

I was so excited about the new jacket I got for frank. It even has functional pockets for treats/poop bags! So I put it on him and he refused to move. I even dropped a treat on the ground across the room and he wouldn't come for it. Acting like he doesn't get cold and shiver on our winter...

Winter Jackets / Hats / Shoes ? When in NY area?

Hi family! I have a question. You know I have lived in California for a year an over there I was fighting the heat. Now that I came back to NY I have to get used to the cold weather again and Ozzy as well. I live in an area that is REALLY windy and I am afraid he won't react well. These days it...

    Winter feeding?

I've heard you're supposed to feed less during the winter months since our bullys dont get as much exercise. We live in MN so it gets super cold here. Currently Patrick is 40lbs and we're feeding him 1.2lbs daily. How much less should we feed him in the winter? Thanks

    Jack's heartworm update

Some of y'all may remember that my Aussie mix rescue, Jack, had his heartworm treatment last winter. The vet rechecked him yesterday for adult worms and larvae and there aren't any! I was pretty sure his result would be negative, but I really got nervous on the way to the vet and while we were...

General Question Wally's behavior last night...

Wally went to the groomers yesterday, and he was there for quite a while because the groomer's brought their hairless cat Cleo… I knew that Lily wanted to see her, so I waited till she got home from school to pick him up. Anyhoo last night when I normally sit on the chair to watch a little TV...

    Where Do I Poop?

I was wondering if anyone else's bullies do this? Now that the snow is melting and there are lots of green grass patches, it seems that Dozer and Blossom don't know where to poop anymore. In the winter they always searched for the highest snow pile to poop on, and now that there's mostly grass...

    Pooping in the snow?

Awkward topic title I know lol frank is 8 months... So this is his first winter and doesn't seem to mind the snow, he loves to eat it. But today we've gotten A LOT of snow, more than he's ever seen. We go outside and he's up to his belly in snow, and he's not too keen on that. I couldn't get...

    Mabel's Little Nose

Some of you know how I have struggled with the hyperkeratosis of Mabel's nose. We have tried everything--Snout Soother, Biobalm, coconut oil, and so many other products. Someone suggested Aquaphor, made by Eucerin, but I was using a combination of products because NOTHING seemed to work. Her...
