I'm a new bully owner.. He is now 6months old. I have a question and maybe someone can help. My bully has been breaking out in hives for the past 2 months. I've taken him to the vet and they have finally put him on antibiotics and added steroids. (10 days prescription) and again now he has completed his doses he has hives again. Vet says they don't know what is causing these flare ups. I changed his food to beef from chicken no grain regimen. I don't know what else to do. But take him to the vet every 2weeks. Help please if you have any suggestions. Thx

Hi! I'm heather, and I have a 10 week old English bulldog. Her name is Lola. She has been wonderful even with of course some expected puppy biting and potty training. I have wanted an English bulldog since I was a child and my husband surprised me for Mother's Day. I take her everywhere with me, including work every day. She is definitely my 3rd child. We have an 8 month old and 3 year old human children lol. I'm so excited to be a part of this group so I can learn from people who have experience caring for bulldogs since this is our first!

Hello, Thank You so very much for letting me on your website. I have the most gorgeous English bulldog, named Henri. He is not quite two yet but today I have realized whilst he is loving and adorable and obeys. Other dogs do not like him. I also have Luigi who is 8 yrs. We go out and mostly he is on the lead but today I got caught off guard twice and he is lean and quick... Henri wants to play but just antagonizes other dogs as he goes to near to there faces or private parts. Today I say opposite a bull mastiff on the ground that I managed to grab hold of the other owners dog but I could not get hold of Henri... What can I do but not let him play with other dogs and always have him on the lead which he will not go to a poo uness he is off the lead.

Hi! I signed up specifically to warn someone that was contemplating feeding their dog Taste of The Wild food. My dog almost died from it a couple of weeks ago. There is no recall yet. It's very bad. The Vet won't know what it is or how to treat it either. My dog would have died within three days, luckily we can afford a $3,300 hospital bill to keep him on an IV with every strong antibiotic and anti-vomitting medication they could try.

Hi I am new to this forum. After many years of waiting I finally have my gorgeous 16 week old bulldog puppy. Her name is mollie. She is so full of character I just adore her. The only issue I am having is crate training. So if theres anyone out there that can give me some advice, I would be very grateful

My 12 week old bulldog has cherry eye. She has an appointment in the morning for surgery. My question is does anyone have any experience with this and did you have it tacked down or removed? I am so sad at how awful it looks.

MY Name is Ron and my Bulldogs name is Tank? My question is that he is 2 1/2 years and weighs 65.4 lbs. He does not appear fat, so says my Vet, but is this too much for a Male English Bullie to weigh!
