Hi there, sorry it's been a while I've been working. I'm a nurse and do long shifts so when I get a bunch together I only get to pop by for minutes at a time. I hope you are going to post pics of your living room when it's finally finished. We love home decor too I have a few bits to do today to finish Christmas and really must go get dressed rather than sitting here delaying my final trip. Did you get some Christmas decorations up for you and the furkids? have a great day xxx

Hello fellow ex-pat ... how is Ohio treating you today???

we've had a little flurry of snow but nothing too bad yet, thankfully. it isnt as cold as usual now you mention it, hasnt even been frosty yet. no doubt it will be upon us with sudden fury when we are least expecting it. We are all loking fprward to christmas here....I'm working an early shift on the day but have boxing day off. I'll be home by 2.30pm though just in time to help finish the dinner and lay the table. I'm happy to be working too cos it got us out of the Family meal with my inlaws...I do love them but not at christmas

I know what you mean. I got soo used to my husband snoring that when he got deployed i couldnt get to sleep. It would take 2 to 3 weeks before i could get to sleep within an hour of going to bed. Now i find that when i sit down and these two are sleeping i find myself nodding off. They can get nearly as loud as him. Lord knows what it will be like when they are full grown. I wont lose as much sleep if he has to leave for a while !!
