  • Yes that's my grandson. His name is Landon. I was hoping for another Jim but I didn't have much say in that lol. My wife babysits kids in our house every day so it gets crazy around here..that's why I got another job after I retired NYPD lol
It was hot! The ac gave out at work and it was 92 so I left. I love that smiley and you using it makes me happy lol! :rundog: :rundog:
I have a grandson who just turned 1 last month. He's the real reason I'm not going anywhere! As for the restaurant thing I prefer to think of it more of a tactical thing! You have to assess the threats right? You don't agree I'm sure lol!
Yes, she has a roommate, who seems very sweet. There are 4 suite mates (2 in each bedroom that share one bath). I believe that Kealey is taking 17 credit hours and we told her to not work for the first semester at least. Since she is away from home, I want her to get adjusted to college life before adding anything else. Since she is in the Honors College, she has to maintain a 3.5 GPA, so it is super important that she have plenty of time for studying.

Kealey is a procrastinator as well, so don't believe that it is just for boys........sometimes I want to pull my hair out when she waits until the last minute on things :(
Yes, she was excited and her dorm room turned out cute :) It is unfortunate that his schedule isn't optimum for working, but hopefully he can manage it!

Her classes last until about 4:30, so I am anxiously awaiting her call so she can tell me about her first day!
Yes time does fly! Except when you are moving all of the necessary stuff into the dorm :( We had to park on the third level of the parking garage, truck the stuff down the elevator or stairs, tote it over to the dorm hall and then up to the fourth floor......I left here at 7:00 a.m. on Friday and didn't return until 10:00 pm Saturday. I am worn out....LOL

Hope your son's first day goes well! My daughter is also beginning classes today :)
Wow! That's is funny because I always complain to my wife I need to sit facing out at restaurants! She always grabs the good seat and I have to make her move and she gets mad. Was your husband ever a police officer? Most cops I know do that. My kids are older 28 24 and 22 but I wouldn't want to move toof ar from them. As for the rest of my family I don't think Id mind being away from them one bit!
Of course he was a brat this morning and very sad that he was staying home. I did get him to eat breakfast and take him phenol but once he realized he wasn't coming with he turned into a pile of mush :( gave me the sad face and all. Sean tried to give him his rescue remedy this morning but he was not having it so he got a little in his mouth but dripped the last few drop on his head which is another option I guess. He is going to be alone for about 6.5 hours so hopefully it goes well. I hate the unknown :(
Tracey -- Thanks so much for the flower! Am much, much better. That was one wicked stomach bug! Thanks again! Kathleen
I think I have it too.. I hate to blame it in 9/11 but I know it had something to do with it. Spent 3 months down there. I want to move out NY so bad but my kids are here..
Hi Tracy, Sorry I just saw your message. Thanks for asking about Fergus :) He is doing great for a dog with pneumonia. Little guy is a trooper. He still has a cough but its not as painful sounding as before. He slept thru the night hogging the bed as usual with no fits of coughing. I woke up this morning just staring at his face and giving him little kisses lol he was so annoyed with me . He loves his sleep have to drag his butt up to eat in the mornings :luv:
