That was nice of you and Brie..Chums doing okay..no flareups but his skin on his head is pink and looks like whenever he goes outside it reddens..i try to watch him all the time but when im at work he doesn't get the attention..if he rolls on his back and scratches his head on the rug it seems to aggravate the area. He looks much better but I don't think were out of the woods yet.were Bries hairs causing ulcers in the eye?

No, not yet grrrr! I can pick her up at 1 today. They called n said she did well through the night. They said her skin is light n eyes r really swollen, but they are open..she has not had them open in weeks.. The cone is going to be hard to have on for 10 days, but I'm going keep it on. How is chumsy doing today??

Thank you, I do too. They put the one on her this afternoon, I'm hoping by the time I get her tomorrow that maybe she has settled into it? ...lol yeah..right..! I just want her home. I hope chumsy has been having a good evening w you

Brie's surgery went well. She is in ICU for the night to make sure all stays well n I MISS HER!

I totally agree about the vet, and figured you were just getting through the steps before making the change Jim !! I feel so bad for Chumley, he's been through the mill lately…. and the comment about Chumley being a rescue, even though he's around children all the time, tells me this vet is as dumb as a box of hammers. Please keep us updated, I'm glad Chumley is doing better, hoping the red spot on his head is just from a table bump or something simple, He looks so precious sitting in the chair on your profile, but surely he wants to get back out to laying on the bar!!

Glad it isn't as bad! Give him a pat for me. Brie is at specialist now getting hairs on her eyelids removed. Hopefully all goes well n I can pick her up tomorrow. Then 10 days of the cone of shame while her eyes heal. The hairs were causing ulcers and horrible pain

Hows our little man doing Jim? I see better than worse, back and forth, have your doctor found a happy medium yet? To say i'm a little concerned is an understatement, his actions with your vet, may be him sensing something bad within your vet, the way he acts around the children says it all. The children are still before the age of accountability as the bible puts it, and loving pets know this, respect this, and thrive in this atmosphere. Your vet on the other hand, I think I would consider Chums feelings towards him as a tool, sort of like a medal detector, of course you know you and and think alike, but our guys deserve the best they can get. If I can be of any help Jim, you know how to reach me. Please give Chumley a big hug from me. PS: Have y'all taken the jeep to the beach today??

Geeez Thanks Jim, lol, it's not so bad. Sorry you missed out, they tried to compensate for your absence lol. How's Chums doing? I think he's worrying a lot of us... Keep us in the loop, so we can keep y'all in Prayers!! Your not taking him to a Doctor in NYC are ya?? Roflmbo....

Is he improving yet? I would give it a shot it certainly won't hurt him with the shampoo I don't think... I use medicated shampoo always (Pharmaseb) and basically it's an external treatment so it could really help. Give him a kiss for me, I love him so much! xx
