Congratulations to your daughter! Yes, Spokane is a 4 hour drive, really pretty in the spring! We are close to Washington (Clarkston) and Idaho (Lewiston). We go to Spokane in April and October to do Custer's Antique Show at the fairgrounds in Spokane Valley. I only get out of my booth to do appraisals for the museum fundraiser!

It takes about 7 hours to drive to Salem. I take 82 to La Grande, go West on 84, coming into Portland South on 205, then get on I-5 South. I'm in N.E. Oregon. As the crow flies, not far from Lewiston!

Nothing that will cure it, only stuff to prevent it. She could have just a light first heat, sometimes they have a 'silent heat' where they never really bleed fully. If it does not go away in a week or she starts squatting to pee all the time take her in to the vet. Antibiotics is the only cure for a bladder or Urinary tract infection, and sometimes you have to do it more than once. Did you check her for a tail pocket yet?

Is she still bleeding? Is she peeing a lot? Arnold will act the fool for blood period, even if it is not a heat, so I am concerned it could actually be a bladder infection or UTI if she has not stopped bleeding yet and if it never got heavy. Altough it is not uncommon for them to not bleed heavy, some just are not heavy bleeders, but you if you do not see it go away completely soon you may want to bring her in to make sure it's not something else. How is her behavior? Oh in the AM you may see me online but I'm on tapatalk so I cannot see chat or visitor messages/notifications....
