The one eye gunking up could be an eyelash turning in. My oldest had this issue & a canine ophthalmologist took care of it. If the cornea is constantly scratched, it can cause great damage.
My 3 yr old bulldog seems to smell like yeast within a couple days of a medicated bath, licking paws frequently. I've tried spraying with Chlorohexidene, good probiotics, Coat Defense, washing feet after walks. He gets a dry food, Open Farm with Ancient Grains. An instructor in a class we...
Trying throwing some cheese or deli meat in the tunnel. (Be sure to say āTunnelā.) Thatās what lured my boy. Then weaned it down to training treats. Now I only have to say āTunnelā and Tebow races through. He doesnāt need treats anymore.
We do some training mixed with play. I do the boys separately and sometimes together. 15 minutes is the max. I lay out a tunnel and hula hoops⦠Daily walks⦠I think that they believe Iām to supply 14 hours of entertainment every day.š

I was discussing vaccines recently with members of our kennel club that have various breeds. Most do not vax for lepto, justifying that they don't walk their dogs in wooded areas or let them swim in streams and lakes. The bacteria is spread through rodents like skunks, opossums, etc. and can be...
I purchased 2 Kong classics yesterday for the boys. Since both are on diets right now, I didnāt put treats in them. After a couple of bounces, they both scarfed up each otherās toy and chomped down on them. So if theyāll play without treats, that would be great!
I gave each of mine a Benebone, a plastic wishbone-shaped bone. They are aggressive chewers and now I see that they are chewing them down. I found a few plastic particles on the floor but I assume some of that is getting into them, which alarms me. A little internet reading (I know, not always...
