That is CRAP!!! Financial aid can give you a refund after classes have started... that is what we are doing. As long as he has the money for classes, he should be able to go! Couldn't the school fax over the transcripts & send the originals?!! Ugh I know you guys must be so frustrated...

That is crazy, what is the holdup w/the paperwork? I can't believe it... will they get it done in time?!! My son is only taking 12 credit hours, and with working too it's gonna be a struggle... LOL

Oh NO... what in the world!!! That really stinks... Does he have another plan for this semester? It's so stupid... we had to pay up front for everything because his FASFA hasn't returned yet. I was afraid if we didn't he would lose his classes & not be able to go. Luckily we have the funds, but what if we didn't... I guess they would get us a loan real quick!!! Unreal...

How is your son doing w/the college thing? I just paid my fees, books & meal plan yesterday for my son... talk about highway robbery!!! LOL

I annoyed the outta you n a few other ppl? Lol it was hard...I tried to think positive and stay focused on making sure I was ok if that makes any sense. You know the airplane theory? If your plane goes down who do you put the oxygen mask on first? Your kids, you etc...the answer is you...if you put it on your kid first n u pass out who is going to take care of your kid? I know, but he needs to be calm...she will be ok in a cpl days. Growing pains can hurt and make you feel just crappy. It is still so hard to see them suffer even if it isn't anything major. I think she needs a special treat

It's a small world......my husband was working in Houston temporarily about a year or so ago.....we had an apartment there and split our time between the two places. I loved Houston and we almost moved there.
