Unfortunately these topicals for demodex can bring on allergies,buy some colloidal silver and use on the spots,buy some quercetin ( natural antihistamine) ,work on the immune system giving primrose oil and borage oil ,I'd also recomend raw feeding
You need to start healing from the inside ,raw diet no sugar,carbs or dairy,supplement with transfer factor,primrose oil ,borage oil,msm,quertecin,and get some nu stock to apply on those nasty hot spots ,please stop the steroids as they're only depleting his immune system further

For hotspots try virgin cocanut oil infused with lavender and tea tree ,I've tried to post a couple of photos of how the mixture can clear hot spots but I'm struggling to upload them ,but it works so well
