Carol, I am always thinking of you-praying for you. I am having trouble with falling-neuropathy... I keep forgetting that I am getting old-until I fall-Ha!ha!
Used to think that commercial "I've fallen and I can't get up!" was so funny! It sure ain't funny anymore. You don't realize how fast life goes by-until it's already gone by! Ain't that the truth! Love you GF!!!

Hi Carol, all is good here, just really busy summer, lots of niece and nephew birthdays, and I took a party time job at the grocery store across the street. It's close to home, 5 mins away, and only 2 to 3 days a week. About 15 hours, so not too bad. I hope you are doing well, and settled in your new place. How do you like it there? How are you feeling?

Hey Chicky. I've been lurking on and off, but haven't posted much, but have been on FB lots. We're all fine, just been super busy. Lots of Birthdays with all the kids, Easter Dinner with the Family, my part time job, my sister had her ovaries out just before Easter, so my mom and I helped her out with her son and recuperation, my brother had an accident weight lifting and tore the muscle away from his elbow 3 weeks ago, and needed surgery to repair it, and my son had surgery yesterday on his nose, he had a deviated septum from an old nose injury, and he had the cartridge repaired. It had been bothering him for years he couldn't get any air on his right side of his nose, and limited on his left side, so he snored a lot and always had a stuffed up nose, plus he couldn't close his mouth to chew, and it caused his mouth to be dry, so I was time to have it repaired. He's sore today and swollen, he can't breathe through his nose, and has to sleep sitting up for 3 days.

Hi Girl! Mom's been in the hospital for nine days. She had heart surgery a week ago wednesday. There were some intraop complications and she was discharged this past wednesday. She was home for about three hours and started having chest pressure. Her pulse was close to 200, BP was all over the place , hard to take with heart racing. She was in A-fib. Called 911, back in ICU, on meds and drips to control BP and heart rate. Yesterday her heart "paused" for about ten seconds and then converted to her normal preop sinus rhythm on it's own. What a surprise that was! She had and echo that showed fluid around the heart so back to the OR to remove it and place a drain. That was yesterday. She's exausted, but calm as a cucumber and a real fighter. If there are no more complications she should be home early next week. Thanks for asking Carol, as always you're in my prayers. I think of you often and hope you're doing well. Love you! xo S
