Need help with registering sunny AKC

Hello everyone, no sure if this is the correct forum for this question, if not please direct me to the correct place. I bought my dog which has his pedigree paperwork from Mexico.. I am trying to register him here in the states in AKC but I am not sure the process. Can anyone help me out with This if possible. I would greatly appreciate it.

Did you receive any registration papers from who you got him from. You’ll need info on both his parents and the litter.

As mentioned, you should have papers from the breeder in order to register with the AKC. The AKC website is a source.

If the sire and dam were both AKC registered and you have the paperwork to support that then there should be no problem. If sire and dam were NOT AKC then you will not be able to register your pup.
