I learned something new… regardless of she it is suggested to not have a dog wait more than six hours to go potty… it can potentially cause UTI 😮. When you think about it, it makes sense.

I have always wondered about that and thought it was a possibility but I never actually looked further into it other than my own thoughts. I always try to keep all my guys on a schedule but Ella goes when Ella wants to go and is on her own schedule.

I totally couldn't agree more, as we struggled with Ellie with her UTI for more than it should have. She does take a daily compound to keep her Urine Balanced, and we have been blessed that she is able to hold it for as long as she does during our work day, BUT once mommy and daddy get home and weekends, she potties as much as she wants when she wants

I have been seeing stuff on this - no more than 6 hours. I really don’t care if Gunny has an accident while I am away. That is why I have a lot of pinsol and new mop heads (Lol). In all do fairness, I try my best to get him outside every couple of hours.
