I read the article. It has good info. This laser procedure is not ground breaking. It's been around for 20+ years. We've had it done more times than I can count with only one dog passing from complications(aspiration pneumonia).
The article lost me with, "The goal is to stop the breeding of super flat-faced dogs." It failed to define, "super flat-faced dogs."

Cheli had laser procedure YEARS ago… I skimmed the article (obviously) and share just so people are aware of the option

It needs to be shared so owners will know. Many surgeons still do not use laser.
We brought this 70# boy in about 2 months ago and he had the laser procedure done right away...it made a huge difference.
