Hello: my 3 yo. English bulldog seems to have a hotspot on his tail on the outside. He's been scooting on his bum and trying to bite at it for at least a week. We took him to the Vet BC we didn't know where there was these reddish brown spots coming from on his blanket on the couch. We didn't know if it was internal and his anal glands or what. We had him checked out by the vet and they said it was a hotspot. This is the first hot spot on our baby and I don't know how else to fix it or take care of at home. The vet said to keep it dry and prescribed some antibiotics. Is there anything else I can do for him? He has been on a raw diet for about 2 months now and seems to be doing well. His coat is not the best looking right now but I attribute that to our harsh Boston winters and the seasonal shedding of his coat. Whatever advice you have would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you all!! [emoji4]
