Kind of new.

Hey guys I'm back. It's been a while. I don't know why I wasn't so active but I found my log in go and so I came over to log in. A lot has changed. My bio says I have 2 daughters. I now have a son. Zeus is doing great. He's thinner than most bulldogs even though my husband has increased foods. I was just told he was underweight. Makes me feel sad because I feel like I do over feed him. He eats his kibble once a day. It's a big 32oz cup. So some might feed twice but he's still getting a lot. He also gets steamed rice with green beans atleast once a week and his spoiled *** gets a Starbucks breakfast sandwich on tues, weds and Thursday's. I just can't say no to him looking at me with his I'm so hungry eyes. He's a Chameleon he looks very thin but I've also got pic where he looks a bit plumpier. I thought he was fine but I don't like peaople thinking I'm not feeding him enough. What should I do. His vet says he's perfect.

Ps I downloaded the tapatalk app and it says it doesn't recognize my login but I was able to log in here. Any thoughts

Zeus does look a little thin in the 1st photo... how old is he now? What food are you feeding? and has the vet checked his thyroid?

One thing I will say...watch the fat. I almost killed my Jewelie girl with human treats (e.g. Starbucks, scrambled eggs, Fromm food, etc.) and she developed a case of pancreatitis. The vet said it was from all the fat in those treats I was giving.

Our Bentley looks thin as well, but the vet says he has a good weight 50 lbs. Jewel is 62 lbs. We feed Jewel and Bentley three times a day. One cup of kibble morning, afternoon, and evening. Jewel looks and gains weight like me. Bentley is full of energy and he doesn't gain hardly any weight.

He is 6 the first pic was from dec 25 and the others are from Jan. He has always weighted over the 65 lbs. his vet says he's perfect but we don't have a English bulldog specialist vet in our area (I've heard others mention those vets )

Oh yea...got to watch those puppies. Jewel and Bentley are the same way. After Bentley is finished and walks away...Jewel will sneak over to see if anything is left. Bentley waits for Jewel to walk away and he sneaks over to see if Jewel has anything left.

For treats...we get the Fromm Lamb and Lentil biscuits and the Liver and Cranberry treats. Both are 5% fat which the vet sais is OK to give to Jewel.

Obviously my husband loved the breed because of their stocky and thick figure. But he is not he's always been thin. My profile pic was a few years back. He eats the Kirkland food I forgot the name. But my husband has been wanting to change it because he feels like he's thin too. I was just told on Facebook that he's under fed but he eats well.

I've been wanting my boy to look like that but I'M the lazy one. I bet the people here would give you good advice on how to make him gain some more weight. He looks great to me but that's just my opinion.

BTW, I also feed Bifi his daily food requirement once a day. He eats 500 gm. Of raw meat. Treats and play in between. Just weighed him today and he is 25.8 Kg.

Thanks I thought he looked good too. It doesn't bother me that he's lean it bugs me that people would think I'm not feeding him enough. I stared feeding him twice and he's gotten so gassy idk why it would cause gas.
