I love my play time with Harlea. It makes both of us tired and we get a lot of bonding in at the same time. Last night we were playing and I was finished but i guess Harlea wasn't so she started going after everyone's feet except mine. Which is normal for her when she is not done playing with someone, but I don't tolerate it. She knows that if she wants someone else to come play with her that she is to go and greet the person she wants the attention from by sitting in front of them until she is acknowledged. Yeah.. So much for that last night....
When she does this normally a firm no and redirect stops her but last night that wasn't happening... She was barking and growling while it was surely playful in tone and intentions i was not going to have it. So I did want any normally insane bully lover would do. I started growling and barking right back at her. As she was arguing with me I just kept getting louder and deeper in my tone and she didn't quite know what to do. I had never done this with her before but it was starting to work so I kept it up. Harlea would bark and growl and then I would start doing it to cut her off per se. This went on for about 5 minutes and finally Harlea stopped and rolled over and exposed her belly to me saying ok you win i have had enough... The rest of the night was filled with her normal antics after that and she was a bit more lovey too boot...
It was a proud moment that I won and argument with my little butterball. Probably won't ever happen again so I best cherish this moment.
