Hi! Do most of you feed your adults 2x a day? Tuni is almost 7 months now and the breeder suggested feeding 1x a day after 6 months, but I've still been doing 2x. I just wanted to see what most of you do.
I feed our adults twice a day. Abby used to be a free feeder but once we got Bells ( food aggressive and medical issues) we were forced to change. They adapted real well
I fed my guys 3 times a day until they were 7 months old, then switched to twice a day. They get 1 1/2 cups at 7 am and 1 1/2 cups again at 7 pm. We feed them Fromms Beef Fritata.
Once a day during the week and AFTER we go on our daily walk. In this way, they are "working" for the food. On the weekends, they get what I call a "breakfast snack" because I am a softy and I like to cook them a scrambled egg. :-)
Herman will be 10 months on Friday - and I have always fed 2x per day. I will continue to feed 2x per day. He gets either a half cookie or a whole cookie when he goes outside as a snack.
We feed ours, 8 months and 1 and a half years, three times a day. We are home and able to do this. I feel like they like it so we never switch to two times.
I usually feed mine once a day. But in the winter I will feed a little in the morning and regular size in the afternoon. I have one of those slow feed bowls.
I am currently feeding 3 times per day. I have recently switched to Fromm and was wondering when can I switch to feeding twice a day? My EB is currently 4 months old.
