Susan you are off to a great start! I would actually either start one thread with all of your questions that way you can get more experiences, or create a thread for each one to focus on that question specifically.

As for the mixture, I do not take it off, it seems to melt right in. You should not have to use that unless you have a problem, and now there are great products you can also use.

Yes Miss Snuffles is our first bulldog. The vet estimates that she was 2 when she was rescued which means she will be 3 in October. Miss Snuffles came to our home on May 9th. Through Facebook I was about to determine that we are her 9th home. We had looked for a puppy for approximately a year but were unable to find one that gave us the warm fuzzy feeling. The ads that we were replying to made us believ they were puppy mills. It was actually my hairdresser who informed me about Miss Snuffles. She had heard me speak about wanting one. I had a name and everything picked out for when I did find my bully puppy lol. I wouldn't change a thing about adopting Snuffles, no regrets. She is the sweetest thing.
