  • Hey Casper. We are! We live in Shreveport. We also have a friend (who is not on EBN) that lives in Haughton. I'm not sure who else is on here.
Oh wow, we used to go all the time. I don't specifically remember the name but when I was in 3rd grade, I was running back from the snack bar and some car turned its lights on and I ran into one of those speakers and split my head open. It knocked me out cold and I had to go to stitches.

    Do you remember Wagon Wheel?
I am so happy that you are able to take Rambo! I know that you will give him a great home. As I posted earlier, you can hear the love in your posts about Rocky and I know you will be great for Rambo. You know I am going to start calling you Sly or Stalone now though  The fate that brought a Rocky and Rambo into the same home with the existing names warrants a new name for Daddy too....LOL
Congratulations on becoming a Daddy again!!!! I am so happy to hear that you are adding Rambo to your family :) You've been a little quieter than normal around here for the last couple of days.......we are missing your humor!
No problem. I am just as addicted to this site as you are!! I have to tell you, you've made me laugh out loud at work literally and people will look over at me like I'm nutz but it's because you crack me up. I thank you for that!
A couch sandWITCH!!! :bitchslap: I once turned Becky into a witch, she wasn't too amused so be warned now.......:biglaugh:
Hey! Nice new name :) Ramsay is doing well! Growing a bit every day, learning new things and becoming more adventurous! First day of puppy school is tomorrow, I'll have to post an update for everyone after it's done!
I'm not convinced either way either. I would change tomorrow to another medication that was effective if I "knew" it was undeniably safer. But I don't know that. I honestly doubt there will be a recall nor will they declare it safe. They will not declare safe under all circumstances with any heartworm medication I'm quite sure or any medication period for that matter be it for pet or human. One man's cure is another man's poison.
I gave Ace the Trifexis this morning with great reservation and fear and trembling but what is one to do. I could switch medication and he may have a bad reaction to that. Of course all of us desire the wellbeing of our beloved bulldogs. I entered the fray over Trifexis primarily because I saw in the thread where some newcomers were asking about it and some had already been using it with no adverse effects. So I wanted to try and show both sides of the dilemma we face.
Furthermore the truth is all parasite prevention drugs be they for heartworms or intestinal parasites or fleas and ticks are poison, no doubt they all are that's how they work. One can only get all the information they can and then sad to say with any of them it becomes a flip of the coin almost. Some here in the forum promote Sentinel but as I mentioned its the same drug. The flea and tick medication differs between the Trifexis and Sentinel but the flea and tick medication in Trifexis the same as Comfortis is one of the safest drugs for flea and tick medication and has been routinely used in other applications for years.
