  • Thank You Therese, I really thought I was doing a good thing, Both are so gentle and loving, I never thought they would show aggression towards the tooth brush !! They both fooled me, But the biggest thing was learning about the toothpaste. In the past I've purchased a Dentabone, But with Rocky and Rambo, I wanted to give them the best experience…which could have turned into a nightmare… I'm glad things worked out the way it did, and both my babies are safe.
Thanks for the tag in the New Bulldog thread. Love the profile pic too! I can't get over how big Amber has gotten, she's just beautiful.

Thank you very much for your time and sharing your recipe. I'm just going to wait about another week, until its been a whole month on the new kibble, then I'm going to try the home cooking and see how they like it. I think I might alternate every other day kibble and home cooked. I'll let you know how it goes, and if they like it
They have been on this food for 3 weeks, and both are doing well. Stools are normal, Blossom is still a little pink, but it seems to be getting better. I'm going to stick with the food, and see if it improves, time will tell. I want to try home cooked food, and alternate between kibble and home cooked. I got one basic recipe from Desertskybulldogs , and am going to try it, but was wondering what recipe or recipes you use. I don't know what ingredients or amounts or measurements to use , or what supplements should be added if any, or the amounts of supplements. I was wondering if you would mind sharing your recipe or recipes. Any advice or information you could share would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.
Hi I was just wondering what recipes you use for your home cooked dog food. I have 2 English Bulldog puppies, a brother and sister, Bulldozer and Blossom. They came from the breeder on Royal Canin, but I switched them when they were 6 months old to Go Natural, they did not do well on this food , diarrhea, Dozer started eating his poop. YUK! Switched them back to Royal on advice from vet. I still wasn't happy with the Royal, so at 8 months I switched them to Fromms Puppy Gold, Dozer did ok on this food, but my female Blossom, is very sensitive , she is white, and her skin is quite often pink, she has pink ears, chin is pink and irritated, and her eyes are pink and teary. I suspect sensitivity or allergy to chicken, grains, corn etc. I took them off the puppy Fromms, and switched them to Fromms Beef Fritata. There are no grains in this food, and if it is the chicken she is allergic to, then the beef is a better choice.
Hi Therese! Guess what, Emma and Amber are SISTERS! Amber's grammy just told me you were here. Amber is beautiful!! I look forward to seeing lots more of her! :welcome: to EBN too.
