    Looking for help - Update

I’m devastated to share that Cooper passed away on Monday. It was completely unexpected to me. Maybe I should have seen it coming but I just didn’t. I feel like I’ve lost a child. Hug your babies today and everyday. I appreciated the forum. Best, Melissa

    Bulldog???

Handsome guy! I say bully! You could get him tested- of course, mine came back 100% BULLDOG which wasn't that helpful being the different variations of breeds. But no mix of another breed so I guess helpful in that sense. :)

Bella needs your help. Allergies or ???

Poor girl - have you tried a bath to clear anything from her park visit? I would try that and Benadryl as often as allowed to see if it calms things down until you get her into the vet. I think I would spare the expense of the emergency vet as long as she's eating, drinking, breathing well but...

Here is an update from yesterday's followup with dermatology for anyone interested... "We are very pleased with Cooper’s progress since his last appointment and previous skin and ear infections are resolved today! As such, cephalexin and ketoconazole will be continued until the previous course...

Hey Kristy, Bear is a cutie! I was on a waitlist and THEN waited 2 months to get my guy, Cooper, into the Vet Derm and can tell you what's going on under her care if it helps... She has him on prescription dog food as an elimination diet, Royal Canin PR (protein rabbit). She wanted to go with...

I just got the ā€œkeeps coming backā€ trophy. I think it really means, you’re so annoying. šŸ˜‚ Idiopathic is a comfy cushion for vets. In the IT world, we call it a glitch. It means we have no clue. I found an article from NIH. I’m saddened to read the people that euthanized. There was no mention...

    Looking for help - Update

Aww, it’s definitely a relief to know they’re harmless but I don’t know why that word isn’t out. Vets continue to test and charge fees. I just know Cooper hasn’t had any UNTIL this week when he was back on Royal Canin PR and it floored me. He also got them on Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein. Is...

    Help please!

I was in your shoes not long ago. Reached out to this forum for help which was so helpful. These are the real gurus but here's my 2 cents... The paw licking is a tough one but I can tell you, it only gets worse. Once they start licking, the paws open up and secondary infections develop. The...

If you have instagram, please see my first reel ever posted. I never post but I'm determined. I also replied to every Idiopathic Head Tremor post I could find asking if their dog was on kibble. Hopefully I'm not stirring up trouble. I can't be the first person that has done this. The money that...

    Looking for help - Update

Thank you. I promise I’m his biggest advocate! So something interesting happened. I decided to listen to the specialist since my efforts have not been overly successful. I ordered the prescription kibble and began transitioning from raw. Coopers idiopathic head tremors were back! I was shocked...

Agree with meatball. Raw? My EB also funny with meds but raw works every time. I will give it above nose so it slides right down and sometimes annoy him with a throat rub so he has to swallow and breathe. šŸ˜¬šŸ˜‚

I definitely appreciate the advice and different viewpoints. I’m not bothered by raw now that I’ve tried it, other than it taking over my freezer. ;) I would do that over cooking again, in a heartbeat! I will talk with the vet about trying raw rabbit instead of rabbit-meal-kibble.
