I'm so ready for summer to be over here... it's been miserable. It's getting colder early in the day, and late in the evenings thankfully... Fall is my favorite time of year :D We are doing good, really busy running the kids around, and now I gotta plan my grandson's B-day party in a couple of weeks. I need a serious vacation... LOL

Just checking in to see how you guys were doing? How's the gang doing?!! I'm sure they keep you on your toes... LOL

Hey just wanted to check-in on you and see how your pups were doing? You need to post more pics of Joey... I really can't get enough of her!!! LOL

My hubby was stationed there when he was active duty in the Army, and I worked for the military newspaper Stars & Stripes! We really enjoyed it there, but my father passed away while we were living there so it was really hard to be so far away from home I would so LOVE to go to Sweden... we have been to Germany, France, England, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland & Lichtenstein. I really want to go to Ireland & Greece... My daughter's school is planning a HUGE Europe trip for 2015 so we are so excited about that. I never got a chance to see Italy, so that would be cool. I'm sure you are homesick... do you get to visit often?

Sorry I didn't realize he's your hubby now... We lived in Germany for several years, and my hubby can speak fluent German but I'm horrid at languages. Luckily most Germans can speak english... We traveled all over Europe, but I never made it to Sweden. I would so LOVE to visit there... I stay at home as well, between my kids, my grandson & the doggies I'm constantly on the GO!!!

The prices here in the States are ridiculous... I need to start looking for insurance. It's a real shame, and I think that's why we have so many strays. People can't afford to keep them... I'm glad your troops are doing good I'm sure after a week you would have seen something. I've been meaning to ask you what do you & your boyfriend do in South Africa?

Holy cow, your bullies have had a lot of operations!!! And I thought my vet bills were over the top... LOL How is everyone doing? I really think you would of seen something in their by NOW!!!

Hey how are the troops this morning?!! I'm sure you are tired of watching them constantly... poor babies! I'm sorry your bullies are fighting, is this a new thing or something that has been going on?

Haha, ja well right now we have them split up with Boeboe and Bennie one side of the house and Joey and the rest on the other cos the bulldogs fight and I can't handle it by myself and even if I could I don't want to risk them getting hurt. Luckily the area we live in have big yards so they all have lots of space to roam on

Shelter dogs makes me super sad There is a no kill rescue that I try to donate to when I can and when going there I always tear up:'( Rescuing dogs are the best, they really pay back what you invest in them, all the love is worth all the pain

Aww Thanks... my hubby is a contractor now, he is retired Army and thankfully only gone till Dec. WOW you have a lot of doggies... Bless you for rescuing them! I would love to do that, but where we live right now we can only have 2 dogs. I think when our kids are older we are going to build a house on land & rescue dogs. It' so heartbreaking here, our shelters are over run w/so many dogs. All your doggies are beautiful, but Joey looks so pitiful he cracks me up w/that TONGUE!!! You will need to video tape them together, I bet it's a HOOT!!!

Oh gosh I didn't even think about the strays... My hubby is in Afghanistan right now, and the locals treat dogs over there horribly. There are so many strays running around... the Americans will feed them, and let them stay on the compounds as guard dogs. Of course when they leave the dogs get left behind, but they are usually taken care of.

I didn't realize you had a pack of dogs... How many do you have? My hubby's family used to have pugs, they are so funny :D

Everything good w/your babies? I was wondering... could you put a no littering sign outside of your garden? It just amazes me that someone would put a lightbulb in your yard... I have heard that the crime over there is unreal...

Oh my goodness... that's funny about the church bell howling!!! I would think if they had glass in their stomachs they would be acting funny?!! Gosh what a nightmare... well hopefully you won't have to dig thru the for much longer. I'm always checking it to make sure their food transition is going well. My neighbors must think I'm insane... LOL
