    I need sleep!

@helsonwheels @1Chumly @anatess @oscarmayer @rjisaterp @2BullyMama I found resolution with a hybrid of the suggestions. First, I stopped going to him. No more getting out of my bed, poking around to source the trigger, and corral him back to bed. Next, ignored or commanded quiet. If the barking...

    I need sleep!

Firstly, my bully turns four (4) this week! Here's the issue- every night around 2 am, my pup is awoken and runs downstairs to bark. It has been going on for at least 6-months. He will not stop or return to bed until I intervene. My human eyes and ears searched high and low inside and out...

    Stubbornness creating safety issues

Finley loves the outdoors. There are people, birds, squirrels, kids, etc. to watch. He will walk and walk. We do short walks, micro walks, and long walks. Distance is not the issue. It’s the power struggle and no awareness of danger. We used to cross the street no problem. Now, when the light...

    Stubbornness creating safety issues

Hi all- I am in need of advice. Over the past couple of months, my bully 3-year old bully has become super stubborn. When walking, if something catches his attention (usually a person or another dog) he stops and will not budge. This has become a safety issue. For example, walking alone at...

    Picky and raw diet

@heldonwheels, Dollys_owner Yep still on meds Finley is currently on Herbsmith but I will try tripe and kefir. He will not go near sauerkraut. LOL We got to the vet for a follow-up tomorrow. Anticipating that we will leave on Zyrtec (cetirizine) or something similar.

    Picky and raw diet

@cbruggs, helsonwheels, Manydogs, Dollys_owner, 2bullymama, Thank you I’ll do anything to get Finley to eat. Every 3-4 weeks like clockwork, he will simply stop eating. He had pneumonia last week and had to be hospitalized and I just fell apart. So, boosting his immune system would be a great...

    Picky and raw diet

I have a very picky eater. Every few weeks it seems that Finley's palate changes. He will eat well then stop until I change to another food brand. I am begining to wonder if I should transition him to a raw diet as he always gobbles up raw food toppers/mixers. Do you think this will help? Has...

Do you have a picky eater? What kibble brand do you feed your dogs?

The thing is, I have considered and implemented different foods, wet, yogurt, gravy, and so on. However, I have never tried a raw egg. The last couple of days I have been mixing kibble with freeze-dried raw. He ate more yesterday. He seems to only want human food which he cannot have. I will...

Finley’s a peculiar fellow. He has 2 bowls he eat out of and that’s it.

Do you have a picky eater? What kibble brand do you feed your dogs?

Yes, I have. In fact 7a-7p meals are my preference. If I put the bowl out for 20-30 minutes and take it up or not, he isn't eating at home. :(

Do you have a picky eater? What kibble brand do you feed your dogs?

I have come to learn two things about Finley. The first is that he is a follow-the-leader kind of pup. Meaning, he does as the other does as other dogs do. [He young, 14months.] Second, he is a picky eater at home and home only. Although he has maintained his weight 40 pounds (+/- 2 pounds) over...
