I've read all their books! The problem is tho, that Brie doesn't listen. It's like the corrections he is trying to instill don't take cos she doesn't stop. She tries to pin the other dogs down. She is successful w them god they r too old to really care at this point. I'm just afraid if the fighting. If they didn't fight Gimli could teach her all the manners in the world. I really think for her first 8 weeks she had minimal care and mother nurturing. She has little bite inhibition n acts like she has to fight for everything. Maybe Gimli can help...I hope so. Don't want either of them hurt

Thanks, I'll be on and off, as we don't get our home phone and Internet until Monday, I'm just using free wifi at different locations for now, Starbucks, Walmart, Tim Hortons, etc, so it will be hit and miss. Just trying to settle in after our nightmare move. Need to seriously destress, and sleep. Lol

What a byatch, eh? But she is so sweet. N the behaviorist said none of the dogs I have are dominant. I just wish Brie n Gimli wouldn't fight. It scares me cos I dont want either one to get hurt n they will eventually I think. I try to redirect it n break it up if it starts but it's hard to pull one off the other u know?

my 2, 14 yo shiba inu's hate her rough play so they yell at her n run away It never turns into anything more. when I put the leash on the male shiba, she acts out 'where r u going' stuff to him. She gets on top of him, growls n bites his neck. Gimli, my 10 yo mix of hound n Aussie Shepard is a sweet big dog but Brie annoys him to the point that he raises his lips at her n growls. I can usually redirect her. It is when that split second thing happens, he retaliates n she goes into relentless fighting bully mode. They bark n bite each other n fight. it is scary. It prolly sounds n looks worse thn it is but they really look like they both mean business. There has been some mild cuts/blood as a result. If she thinks he has food or getting too much attention she will jump up at him which annoys him n not stopped eventually he will retaliate. If she thinks any other dog has food she rushes, growls n jumps on them n acts all 'I'm in charge-like'.

Lol such talented bullies! We are all great. Brie is good, just being a bit of a byatch here n there to my other dogs..to the point that I called a behaviorist in for help. Got some tips, but the issues r still kicking. I'm just concerned she n the big dog will hurt each other one day. They get into spats every so often n it escalates. Other thn that tho she is absolutely wonderful. 40 pounds and she will be 1 yo 12/12.
