Thank you for this!!! So helpful and has eased my mind. My George just got diagnosed yesterday with cystine stones and the vet is wanting to have him neutered in a week!

So after going through the panic about having the bladder stones removed last month, we finally got lab results. Turns out they are Cystine stones and the vet says that they are hereditary? I'm so sad because we wanted to breed George, so I could have one of his pups, but that isn't looking like...
Good mom moving! I did the same thing about a week ago, but it was a glass mixing bowl. It went EVERYWHERE. Like in his food/water dish and everything. I spent about 2 hours trying to get everything cleaned up while poor George was baby gated in the other bedroom!! Sounds like you moved quickly...
😀😀 glad he is doing well!! If you notice him scratching or messing with his eyes I would get him a cone. We use a Pro Collar for George and its like wearing a neck pillow. George destroys the plastic ones.
We are now on Royal Canine Urinary.. Had George on Orijin and Fromm. I loved what the Fromm Beef Fritatta did for his allergies and ear infections but the vet and husband think that the high protein messed up his pH causing our most recent issue with bladder stones and a surgery. We won't know...
