If you have a canine opthalmologist I would call them. Sophie had terrible problems with her eyes and it could be very painful. Bulldogs do tend to get entropion quite often, where the eyelids curl in and it can cause ulcers. If you can't get to an actual opthalmologist, a regular vet should be...
