Maybe he's just fully rested? Aubie goes to be between 10-11, and she's up and good to go every morning between 6-7. She's turned me into a morning person, LOL.
^^^I was going to ask the same thing about the thyroid. Our family had a sheltie who had a ton of skin problems and it turned out to be hypothyroidism. Once he got on twice daily medicine, he was perfectly fine.
