    A little help with suppliments

He's had every test except the barium swallow . The radiologist didn't see anything out of the ordinary on his x rays or ultrasound. I had tried at one time feeding him Fromm although it wasn't soaked. He regurged all of it like it was just eaten . His poo is normal and usually once a day. We...

savemejeebus we've tried feeding him small amounts, in a slurry, meatballs etc...everything they say for Megaesophagus....even though he doesn't have it, just all the symptoms for it. Vikinggirl I'll try some egg yolks and seared liver. He doesn't do well on broccoli. Thanks so much for all...

    A little help with suppliments

I'll try to condense this so it isn't a book. My boy Bob is almost 2. For about a year he's had regurgitation after he eats. His 1st vet was positive he had megaesophagus but didn't want to do tests, just have him take drugs. I got a new vet and we had several tests done. Both showed no mega e...

Rx i/d food? Hernia? Mega-esophagus? Food intolerances?

I'm where you are and was just going to post something similar :( Bob is on Cisapride also and get's 1 prilosec in the morning. The only difference is we feed raw ground. It is dwindling down as to what he can eat. We're down to fish right now. Our vet has us sear the outside and flake it into...

I'm so sorry!! I'm just now seeing this. I don't remember getting a notification :( Bob doesn't have a diagnosis yet.. His first vet was positive he had megaesophagus. He wasn't really helpful so we got 2 new ones and had a few tests done (x rays and ultrasound) both show no enlarged esophagus...

Daily poll: Do you make your own bulldog treats?

I've made bison treats, chicken liver treats and salmon treats. I usually make large batches and freeze them. I don't get to do it too often, but when I'm too busy, they just get good grain free treats from the pet boutique.

Esophageal stricture - please someone tell me it will be ok??

Thanks Lisa :) I've read about the meatballs also. Google gets me in trouble... I'm going to try feeding him one at a time but I'll probably be missing some fingers. I get his raw fine ground so it's no trouble to roll it, just going to gross me out for awhile..
