My Dad retired at FT Hood after his 20 years and 2 tours of Vietnam.

He really wanted to be in another 10 years but it was 1969 and those
tours really did him in, he was already an alcoholic. I had just turned 13
so I remember well...he was a mental case.

Yes I am a Texan, have lived all over Texas but the last 20 years have
moved back to Central Texas...Waco. Hubby's parents lived in Beaumont
about 10 years ago, they're gone now as is my Hubby, a year ago this month.

We are getting a lot of new members out of TX lately...I am thrilled!

Welcome to EBN and may I say 'Thank You' to you, your husband & family for
dedicated service to America & it's people. It does take sacrifice from the entire
family and not just the one...I grew up in military life so I know...Thank y'all and
