Exactly. There is a season of the year where a group of fishermen compete the most and heaviest load of blue fin tuna off the coast of masachussetts. Each fish when caught weighs in between 200-600 lbs. very sought after fish in the Japanese market. The population is dwindling so it is very highly regulated.

Wicked Tuna...The newest season(on now) takes place off the Outer Banks of NC...I've fished there many times. Most of the boats leave out of Oregon Inlet...some out of Hatteras, Buxton, maybe Pirates Cove. Interesting show for anyone that has or wants to go Offshore Fishing for big'uns.

I do not watch scripted series... mostly watch Discovery ID, HGTV (kind of scripted) and I LOVE 'Impractical Jokers' they are too funny

That's my son's favorite show. If he didn't watch it I probably wouldn't...but I must admit, I get a lot of laughs from it. Although I think the peoples' reactions are genuine and not scripted, the show is heavily edited. He saw them live with my oldest son about a year ago. They said the show was really good.

I heard the live show and the TV show are not the same... the stand-up 'live' show is more improve and comedy, not anything of what the show is -- is that true (your son might know). I totally agree -- it is heavily edited, you can tell a lot of the reacitons are not related to what took place.

They said it was very a funny stand up routine that also featured a lot of their type of commentary on some outtakes from the show.
