Update on Molly

What pain meds did they send her home with? Tramadol? Did they give an antibiotic? The licking could be from stomach upset.

They sent her home with 3 Deramaxx pills 1 to be given every 24 hrs. Antibiotics were given the day of surgery. I think it was the pain meds not enough food this morning maybe

That could definitely be it! If she seems better now, perhaps it was just that.

I think it was her pain meds to ! I picked up nausea meds from the vet. Cerenia is what is is. Gave it to her and an hour later she is much better even kept dinner down ! I'm gonna be extra careful with the pain meds from now on I feel awful !

Happy Saturday everyone! Molly is back to doing much better no more vomiting ! She is still moving slow and resting lots Which is good here's today's pic of her incision

it looks so good to me... and you know, i'd you've ever 'over done' or had surgery, its usually the third day that's the worst.. even when I brought Hank home from his surgery the vet mentioned that. Also to even be more cautious/protective of his 'actions' at that time so part of that might have been in play for your girl... glad to see feeling better and handling her own management
