I've just kinda, sorta, been turning things over in my mind.

I miss Isabelle sooo much,

she was such a lap-baby, we had our little Saturday and Sunday morning rituals; I would have my coffee and read in bed for about a hour or so before getting up, and she would curl up on my lap. If I moved she would give me the stink eye look like
'no, it's not time to get up yet'

And when I came in the door from work she would meet me, yapping and wagging her little stubby tail, we would have a conversation;

her: yap yap yap
me: really!?! I didn't know that
her:yap yap yap
me: Ok, Ok don't worry, I'll fix it.

I wonder if I should get another lap-baby.
I know there's no way on God's green earth to replace her.

but I miss her so bad.

What is stopping you? Cheli is my lap fog, he must be on my lap as soon as I sit. There are days I work from home ans stand the entire day cause he wants on my lap

My sister’s 3 poodles, baci 7 @15lbs, sushi 6 @10lbs n Bailey 5 @ 5lbs wet are ALLLLLLL yappers! They see another animal on TV they yap, they see squirrels, they yap, doorbell rings, they yap, you get up in the middle of the night, they yap...you get my drift???? When I visit home I sleep at her place. When I leave as god is my witness I’m happy. Not cause of her cause of the dogs. Not dogs fault her n her husband let them bark. So they never learned not to bark for no reason. No laptop dogs for me...lolll

My parents got a poodle a few years after my sister and I moved out.
A little black toy, Lucy.

She quickly became Moms new favorite child!!!

Waaaaaaay beyond spoiled!!

But she hardly ever barked.

Thanks everybody for listening to me whine.

We talked about it last night, and I'm afraid if I got one now, I couldn't help but comparing her to Izzy, and that would be completely unfair.

I'll get another one day most likely, but I think I need to heal a little more.

Funny, she would get so under my skin sometimes & the only thing between her and the pound would be the fact she was so gosh darn cute!!!

She was like a really bratty spoiled child. When we got Ty, she threw a tantrum, wouldn't look at us, be in the same room with us or even eat!!
Hubby panicked insisted she go to the vet.

I paid $230 for him to tell me she was spoiled!!

Nice!! But like I said, they leave them bark..so the dogs kept the bad habit.
